Using black faces in front of your lens but keeping the white photographer, editor, mua, hairstylist, etc. Juicing every bit of our culture while still calling us “ghetto” and taking our talent for granted. Granted you would take our names if you could… which you did. So Cheers! While you brand yourself to be “inclusive,” we’re more exclusive than ever. Exclusively black. Down to the writers, editors, advertising, down to a t. No one ever gave us room, so we made room, created a community, a family. This magazine is for us, this magazine is created for black people by black people. Period.
